COMBINING INSPIRATIONAL TALK WITH PRACTICAL TRAINING

” What characterizes great conversations, whether it is in the pharmacy or at home?”

Berta Lende Røed has, through combining inspirational talks and training, helped to promote and enhance great conversations at the pharmacy. So far, 160 pharmacists have attended the training programme. Feedback after the session includes comments: “very useful and motivating”.  Attendees also emphasized that Berta and her colleague Tonje Flack, create a safe and informal environment that promotes learning and motivation. Berta has been a professional and engaged partner in everything from developing to implementation of the new training program for pharmacists.

FUELBOX QUESTIONS HAVE NO HIDDEN AGENDA!

We used FuelBox during an internal event for our employees at KPMG Stavanger. Our aim was to create an arena where our employees could tie even stronger bonds across departments. We found the event to be very positive; Berta Lende Røed set the mood with an inspiring speech, and our employees used FuelBox beyond the time we originally set aside for this segment.

One of the strengths of FuelBox is that it creates an arena for communication without any underlying or ‘hidden’ agenda. It is a tool where all participants take an active part and we received positive feedback from our employees afterwards. The FuelBox cards are an instrument to help kick off conversations; particularly where the participants do not have a personal relationship beforehand. In most cases, we experienced that our employees continued the conversations beyond the subject from the card drawn from the FuelBox. In addition, our FuelBoxes have been used by employees after the event.

KPMG in Stavanger therefore recommends FuelBox as an entertaining and relationship creating tool. Good communication is key for our business and FuelBox contributed to creating new relationships within our organisation.

GREAT CONVERSATIONS FROM A SMALL CARD!

We have had a great experience using the LEADERSHIP edition in our Kindergarten. In our team of leaders we find it useful to reflect on how we execute decisions, our leadership styles and skills and how we want to progress. The box creates great conversations about our visions and values, and makes it easier to put words to our silent knowledge as leaders. I can highly recommend using FuelBox in leader groups.

No doubt that great conversations are created from small cards!
